Recruiting, I don't want to just post something based in rumor, wanna make sure there is truth behind it before I do.

what? I've been here, just recently this month decided to post stuff.

Anyway, Keveon Mullins, the 4* WR, plans on committing today or tomorrow. Looks like we have a strong lead, but we also had one for Savion Jackson the day before he committed to NCState so who tf knows.

Mullens isn't announcing this week, he has put it off till mother can see campus much like Joe Anderson. Also looking like our lead with Jaydon is slipping hard and fast to Tenn.

Well since the FSU guy on 247 went ahead and put in the cbs I guess the info I got was good. There is legit reason to feel good about McCullough, his best relationship is with Boom, he loves the UT recruiter as well. He should be on campus with his mom Hopefull sometime in July. Also Hilinski is still recruiting Kyle Ford hard and is close to getting us a visit, not sure if it's gonna be an official or unofficial. Nothing is set in stone but things are looking up, doubt we pull Ford but getting a visit from a big time guy like him is good optics.

Yea I was glad to see something on McCollough. His recruiting has gone quiet for a while. Did Alabama stop recruiting him? I think he would be our biggest target at this point as we really need a good safety.

Ford would be huge too, but if Mullins commits does that run him off? We've got alot of young receivers on our roster. I'm sure Ford is a super long shot so its probably not worth considering. Mullins, Holley, and Kenion will work fine.

He was always a camp guy for BAMA and they got thier 2 safeties in the class already. He is high on the board not sure where it is he fits in but he is a priority.

As I stated earlier there is less of a chance we get Ford than there is of us pulling Steele, and that's really low.as to your numbera question. it shouldn't be an issue as we are Likely done in the DL unless Walker somehow wants in. Likely we close with the Following:
1 more ol in mcclendon
4 dbs probably McCullough, Hill, Smith and Jammie/Dixon
1 wr in Mullens
Lb is tricky as deloach seems to lost interest and they really like the group they got

So that puts at 6 guys with 8 spots left. So likely the other 2 spots are for surprise guys late in the process.

Also keep in mind Holley who is on track as if now but is a borderline academic guy as is the JUCO DT green. Alot of moving parts. It's still auper early in the process.

He is a possible take if green becomes an academic casualty or we miss on some of the no-brainer space is being saved for

Loved how Ryan popped into the shot and put a Gamecock hat on him and gave a "Spurs Up" shout-out.

Speaking of Hilinski...when I read the article online about the Hilinskis and what they'd gone thru, this pic stood out to me. Ryan has said that his big brother Tyler told him South Carolina was the place for him after he passed away. Look at Tyler (in the middle) of this pic waaaaaay before college ball recruiting had even remotely begun for Ryan.

So a fwiw but it comes from a really good place ... keep an eye out for Jammie Robinson to do something soon. Kid out of Cordelle, GA right? I hope I got that right because I was driving and couldn't take notes. But evidently it could happen any time now. He's wanting to pull the trigger and Mullins and he have become pretty good friends. Don't ask me how ... through the camps I guess? Anyway, Robinson is itching to pull the trigger and T-Rob is ready to take the call. Something up with Bama.

I’ve got a good feeling about Mullins. Really excited about this commitment.
