I'm down with finishing like this. Thompson's a potential ratings bump so finishing with 3 4*'s would be nice. The question remains, who tfrick was JC talking about this whole time? I haven't seen anyone's name pop up that gave me any type of wood.

Louis is still waiting on admissions...heads need to roll. Ray and Pres Pastides need to take a trip to the admissions office.

I was told again last night at the game that his paperwork was in and he was good to go.
Where are you hearing that he is still not cleared Mike?

Hmmmmmmmm.
Well ... wonder where Tony is getting his info these days. He's a good guy, I've known him for a long time and I know he usually has good info, but I think he may be confusing being enrolled vs having been cleared. He's cleared, he just not supposed to get through the enrollment process until tomorrow or Friday but the hang-up is no longer with financial aid, compliance or anything like that. From what I understood it's with which school he best fits with regard to working toward a major.
But who knows. I doubt my guy is giving me the run-around. He's about as connected as it gets. My bet is that Tony's guy is just telling him Louis is not enrolled yet. Last week he was not cleared. That was handled as of Tuesday around noon from one I understand and it was a class credit technicality. It changed some things with regard to his major I believe.
But you know what - I'm about to text someone at home that'll find out what the deal is for sure. Wouldn't normally go this far but we have got to have Louis ready to go ... he may be the most important member of this early class IMHO. I mean we need to know if we should panic or not.

You are probably right...just passing what I read. I agree he is the most important recruit not named Wonnum or Sandidge in this class.

Wonnum no longer visiting this weekend will be going to Tennessee this weekend and coming here next weekend him and Sandidge will be on campus together for their final visits.

Okay, so I was told Louis was working-out with the off season crew yesterday ... which he wouldn't have been allowed to do if he was not cleared.

So we got some news as to why there has been no news regarding the 50/50 guy. He will likely be a blue shirt meaning he was not openly recruited. He was allowed unofficial visits but no ov or in home.

Brown? Mincey? Which one are you referring-to because aren't there several 50-50 guys remaining .... and not talking about Sandidge or Wonnum. We're in good shape, I hope, with both of those guys.

Jc at 247 said after the early signing period that there is a 50/50 chance that we'll get some big unexpected news regarding recruiting. The news of it being a blue shirt guy means he won't sign on nsd. he'll come to campus and then be awarded a scholarship. Kinda like the jc Jackson scenario was supposed to play out.

Tony Reporting that DC area CB DJ Brown will not be visting us, instead will be headed to Northwestern and Ohio State for his final 2 visit, and it wasnt due to the fact that our staff cooled or told him not to. Sucks cause he is a long CB and would have been great in T-Rob and Booms defense, but as the old adage goes, NEXt.
