I guess everybody was on Carolina and that didnt cover. The UGA vs South Carolina spread was UGA(+1) at the time they played.
I need to rethink some shite.

Can anyone explain the logic of playing in Columbia this year and then skipping a year and then playing at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte 2015? What happened to cause this strange scheduling? Not a pure home/away series.. just two random games?
USC went to UNC to play in '07, UNC was supposed to come to play @ USC in '10 (it was scheduled as a home and home series), but instead unc played LSU in the kickoff classic in '10. Then they dodged us for '11/'12 and tried to buyout the right to play us, but Hyman (who was the AD at the time) told them he wasn't letting them buyout, so we got our home game with them finally in '13.
We are slated to open the season in '14 in Charlotte against ECU, this was decided a couple years ago. Just a few months ago, the Charlotte Sports Foundation helped to "broker" the matchup and made it official that we will open the season against unc in Charlotte for '15.
Depending on how the scheduling with the SEC goes (in regards to IF we move to a 9 game SEC schedule) we might end up playing unc or NCst more often. We also played NCst in '08 and '09 in a home and home series.

This looks right. USC has been tough at home for the past few years. The odds opened at around that number (depending on the site) and have been fluctuating as the people/money bets. Sportsbet has USC at -9 1/2 right now, and BetOnline has USC be -12. So everyone is just trying to still generate some action.

Right now oddsmakers are favoring clemson by -2+/- a point and a half, where are you seeing that uga is favored? Neither team has anything close to a great defense, so I think the I would be more curious on what the O/U line will be.
No matter if it's either game, it's always better to wait until closer to game time, unless you're giving a crazy can't lost spread, such as USC -40 or UGA -24, but that hardly ever happens. There are still too many variables, such as player injury in camp, or for uga, they could have 4-9 other players arrested/suspended.

eah. Wasn't Kentucky up big at one point vs Carolina the week before?.
Not huge, but they had a 17-7 lead going into half time. Then USC slaughtered Kent in the 2nd half with 31 unanswered points.

I know this will sound crazy but South Carolina has to improve in recruiting(compared to UGA).., I believe it's coming.. Just continue doing what you're doing
There's some truth to this. UGA has had better recruiting classes almost every year for the past 8 seasons, but then again USC has won the past 3 games. So recruiting does play a part in it, but coaching, play calling and player development/analysis plays a big part in it too.
USC has done a great job of taking some guys who came in as 2 or 3 star players and making them NFL level guys (Brinkley, Munnerlyn, Rice, Norwood, McKinley, Rok, etc....)
A lot of those sites that do recruting rankings base their rankings on what their scouts/anatlysts see at various camps. There are a lot of great HS football players across the USA who don't have the resources or support system to make it to a lot of those camps. So they might be every bit as good of a player as some 4 star guy a couple counties over, but they've never been to a Nike camp or something like that. Recruiting rankings are very subjective, and all that really matters is how the guys your team got do on the field.

This is the second half of a home and home going back to 2007 when we won at Chapel Hill 21-15. We were supposed to play next year but UNC backed out.
I'm guessing we refused to play them in Charlotte until they came down to Columbia to get whipped.

Are you sure? I thought we were supposed to get a return game in '08 but that was delayed until '10. Then ESPN did the finagling and arranged it so that LSU and UNC would play in Atlanta to open the season? They rescheduled for 2012 but that too was postponed at the behest of UNC because of their internal issues. I think they bought-out or delayed their game with Tennessee mutually maybe? So our game was rescheduled for this year and here we are finally. As I understood it we let them off the hook for 2012 prior to 2011 provided they agreed to the neutral site game in Charlotte.
I could be wrong but I remember there was more to it than just the 2010 game being rescheduled and ESPN giving us the Thursday night opener instead.

Yes, '08 and '09 were slated to be the NC State home and home series. '08 we saw the destruction of Tommy Beecher. '09 I was there at Carter Finley, which was renovated nicely since the last time I was there in '01.
We were supposed to have unc in '10, but they got offered the Chic Fila Classic opener against LSU and took it. Then they offered to buy us out and Hyman said, "No." We did get a Thurs opener from ESPN as part of this deal, that is correct.

This '15 game in Charlotte might be the last matchup with them in a while, unless the SEC comes to a decision on the 8 or 9 conference game options.
If we stay at 8, I could see us playing unc and ncstate semi regularly at Charlotte, maybe 2-4 times every 10 years.
I'll be at the '15 game in Charlotte, barring anything crazy happening. I went to the USC vs ecu game there last time, and it was a good one. There were way more Pirate fans there than I thought there was going to be.

East Carolina in '16 and another TBA which may very likely be in '17. '16 game is home. So I am assuming the following would be in Charlotte. Can't really see traveling to Greenville to be a viable option.

I think we play ECU in '14 at Bank of America Stadium. We also play ECU in '16 at home (Cola.).
If we can get a '17 game, I would like to see if we could get NCState at Charlotte.
I don't see clemson getting to come to charlotte to open against a NC team, since they are already playing those NC teams in conference, and that stadium is too big for any solely acc crowds (anybody see the ACC Championship last year?) I rest my case.
