Michael Smith signed too. I want to think I saw somewhere that Jawarn Howell was coming back. Retaining some of these key guys keeps the hopium alive.

You're absolutely right about Smith and Howell. It's quite possible that next year's team may be better than this year's.

We lost alot along the D line. If Emanwori goes, and I anticipate him going, and he should go, the D is going to take a step back.

I mean I expect that we can pull some Transfer Talent. We should be able to. Just like the offense has Sellers to sell, we have stewart on defense to sell

You have a point however, coming into this season we had no idea what Kennard or Knight was going to bring to the defense. We didn't know Goodwine was going to bring quality depth as a DT. Kennard became the dpoy and knight won us the Clempson game along with other stout performances. Let's see what we do in the portal to add to our quality young guys.

One thing I have to give Beamer and his staff props on, they are OUTSTANDING at talent evaluation.
