It's not as bad as the list looks. Look for 5 to 6 of the questionable to play. Will they be 100% well, no ,but at this time of the season who is.

That’s true. But we play Clemson tomorrow. I wish we were a little better off.

More bad news.

quote:

Junior defensive lineman D.J. Wonnum had another surgery this week on his injured ankle, South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp revealed after the 56-35 loss to Clemson. He could miss the remainder of the season.

Sophomore defensive lineman Aaron Sterling (knee) is out for the season, Muschamp said.

And junior defensive lineman Daniel Fennell could be out for the year, Muschamp said, as the team fears he tore an ACL against Clemson.

Freshman defensive back Jaycee Horn (ankle) practiced this week and tried to play Saturday but couldn’t go.

Wonnum was originally injured in the season opener against Coastal Carolina and then left the Nov. 17 game against Chattanooga. Sterling had missed the previous two games.

The Gamecocks were already down senior pass-rusher Bryson Allen-Williams and sophomore defensive back Jamyest Williams for the season.

Brutal. Guess that means Wonnum is coming back for sure next year. One of the analysts on the defensive staff had mentioned earlier that he would test the draft if he had a good junior year.

I would think that the lack of depth is also leading to some of our injuries.
