Relating it to Spurriers situation doesn’t work as well. He didn’t have two every year opponents in the top 5. Clemson wasn’t elite then, and neither was UGA. It made recruiting and winning easier.

Listen, I agree losing has to stop, but the climb Will had to make with USC was going to take time. Next year should be a much improved team. Hopefully we get a fully healthy Ryan to lead the offense, which we only had in the CSU and Bama games, both of which he was fantastic

Eh.
We played a much tougher/better Arkansas team yearly than A&M was
Clemson wasn’t elite, but still not a pushover, but we played UF who won 2 titles in that time.
Georgia was also a team that was where they are today, winning the East

We had a tough SOS back then too. We just had more talent and really a much more talented state to recruit from

We also didn't lose to a school from the state of North Carolina.

Don't forget a better coaching staff also. They can give Muschamp all the time in the world. But it won't make him a better football coach. And it certainly won't make him less stubborn.

This will be his undoing. More than anything else. He's got a head harder than a fat lighter stump.
