fricking Deke Adams . That dips hit was the implosion of our defense.

Most sports are all just a giant circle jerk of the same coaches playing musical chairs

I don't know about that playa, Clowney and Quarles were part of that line. Our problems were on both sides of the ball.

Clowney final seasons was 2013 not sure with Quarles. I can recall Deke changing the way Clowney lined up and Clowney specifically stating Brad Lawing was a better coach. Deke coached us again in 2014 and 2015 before being let go. And we declined and declined from the moment his shite arse stepped on your campus. I'm not sure what you're argument is but I hoped to have addressed it.

Deke was the problem. He let Clowney freelance and line up wherever he wanted. Production dropped in half.

No discipline on defense was the beginning of Spurrier’s downfall. What might have been if only Brad Lawing had kept his pants on.

Look at Chaz Sutton.

Good enough in 2012 for Herbstreet to specifically highlight him on Gameday. Fell off a cliff in 2013

Part of this was him moving outside and not playing in the middle in the rabbit psd rush package, but damn. I can’t imagine he would have been such arse if Lawing had stayed.

But I also think Whammy getting the DC job would have resulted in decline even with Lawing here

I don't think Deke was that bad. The whole program began to slide on both sides of the ball. That's my point but we cool.
