I like it, Padgett is a no bull shite guy. Some people think he can do more to get his players 'out there more' in media-camps and the like, but he's a winner. Anyone that goes 40-4 over three years knows what he's doing.

Quick recap of what I read over on Phil Kornblut's site.
- 3* Safety Nate Culpeppar still has SC on top. Just spoke to TRob and Muschamp last week. Has a OV lined up for Mich St vs Ohio St and will take 4 OV's, but hasn't scheduled the others. Final 4 are SC, Mich St, Miss St and Tenn.
- 4* SDE MJ Webb is coming to practice Friday. He won't make a commitment until Nov and is going to take all his visits, including 1 OV to SC vs uga. Tenn and Kent are matching our recruiting effort for him, he talks to Muschamp or Coach LT almost everyday.
- 4* WR OrTre Smith is still planning to announce on Sept 11th, his birthday, but isn't tipping his hat either way. He has a final 5 of SC, clemson, uga, unc and uf. He said he hears the most from SC, clemson, uga and unc. He talked to Coach BMac last week.

No doubt, SC and clemson want him. However, SC has shown that they wanted him and would take him for longer than the team from the upstate. Never forget though that his mom is a clemson alum. Things are looking good for us now, but I think this could ride out all the way to NSD.

Yeah I anticipate Clemson getting this guy. We're getting Williams though probably who I think will be better long term, and he won't have to sit at all.

I went to the YAC Fall Sports Preview party last night, and Boom said that we would be getting a few guys soon who hadn't made it official but had already told him.
I am assuming Williams and Or'Tre Smith? I thought Terrell may have been possible given the timing, but could be wishful thinking.

I saw Hamsah's and Sandidges game last night Concord vs Kannapolis. Hamsah is what they say he is. He's a super athlete. He was making play after play on defense. Concord's offense fricking terrible though. Really undersized OL, and they QB situation is a mess right now. Their new starting QB has only been on the team 3 days and it showed.
Concord's defense was lights out though. Had their offense and Spec Teams not turned over the ball 5 TIMES in their redzone, Kannapolis wouldn't have scored more than 14 pts. Sandidge was explosive up the middle, but Hamsah really was the best athlete on the field. He was ripping guys helmets off on hits and was so fast to the ball.

I have less than 1% expectation that Terrell is coming to SC. Great athlete, would like to have him, but I'm 99% sure he's not coming here.

yeah, his offer list is really legit.
Notre Dame, Mich St, Auburn and Tenn really wanted him. He also had offers from a who's who list of contenders. This is a big time pickup. He could play SDE or DT at the next level, just a really good athlete for his size.
