Anyone have any information on this? I believe he said it was due to family obligations but that is the excuse everyone uses. I've heard he's being run-off by Satterfield. Makes no sense to run-off Shaw, not only is the dude a legend but he's got a good football mind and can become a great coach in the future.

Not sure. Since leaving the Bears in late 2017 Shaw has been:
TE Coach for Furman.
Left Furman to join a private business.
Gamecock Director of Player Development.
Gamecock Director of Football Relations.
No shame at all in it, but I've gotten the vibe the man hasn't been able to find a career path that he truly wants to go down.

Add Kimrey to the list of guys leaving, going to coach Baylor HS in Chattanooga TN.

A little disappointing, just because I love his story. But best wishes.

The fact that both are gone would indicate more of what the OP was hearing rather than my theory.

the fact they are both gone on the same day. I do agree with that, but with that said, I think ill believe that theory when I see more coaches walk. Connor isnt really important.
