Do you not realize that the above sentence totally contradicts itself to the nth degree? If the admin set up a vent thread for negative posting - ie: "venting" - and state that any negative posting be done in that thread, and you deliberately choose to ignore that, why shouldn't your post be whacked? Also, based on what you state you posted in it, your thread was totally a call-out to other posters for supporting Thompson, which whether you like it or not IS a negative slant towards Thompson.

Further, on gamedays when vent threads are created there, and emotions are running high with negativity, the Admins there tend to be more sensitive towards thread attempts like yours, because whether you intended or not, they will always head towards negativity or ranting or personal attacks at other posters anyways, which is what the vent thread is for.

As someone who once was an admin on several message boards and forums, I just have a serious issue with people who feel they should be allowed to do whatever they want to do regardless of rules on someone else's message board that someone else pays $$ for, but the poster pays nothing. Tiger Droppings/SECRant have just as many posting rules here as Cockytalk, and whack threads and ban posters just as often IMO...
