Not ACC Champs....ACC Atlantic Division Champs. Apparently Clemson won a tie with FSU for division champ, even though they lost to FSU. That loss broke the tie-breaker of who represents the division in their conference championship.
It's similar to the 2007 season when UGA and UT both finished 6-2, but UT won the right to play LSU in the SECCG due to their win over UGA that season. Technically, BOTH teams are division champs, but the one who wins the tie-breaker gets to play in the CG...

Different sport. Football takes the top two teams from each division. If you didn't make that spot, you aren't Champs.

How can you say you're the division champs if you didn't represent your team in the championship game b/w the 2 divisions...and you lost the team that was going to the championship instead of you? This doesn't make sense and is some communist bullshite.
If that's the case, we beat all the teams in the SECe in '11 and like UGA, UF only lost to 1 SECe team in '12, so let's get some division champ banners too....j/k.

Exactly. They lost to FSU so naturally FSU is the division champ. This is very Ole Miss esque.
Also the link is the only source I could find. Has anybody been able to confirm this is not a hoax?
