A blessing in desguise?

Does anyone else hope that Spurrier is using the autograph hoopla and Clowney media circus to close practices in an effort to install something completely different for the offense? I don't think we've ever had a fall this bereft of information from the team. We usually have a pretty good idea of what we're going to be doing, but this year the Blackout might be a smokescreen. He's got lots of weapons at his disposal now on offense, so his mind might be spinning out plays that he wasn't able to install with what was available in the past.
Or... these last three weeks creeping by has induced a euphoria in my own mind that leads to flights of fancy. God... my kingdom for a time machine...
Thoughts? (or just post your own day dreams for the season...)

IMO the closed practices may also be good due to the fact that our team is a bit on the young side, and are coming into this season perhaps with more hype and expectation than any before it. Thus closing the practices and establishing some separation from the hoopla may help keep the players focused on the job at hand, and help them better prepare for the season. Less fans cheering and applauding, more coaches screaming and cursing. Can't be a bad thing for keeping the players humble....

I'm sure he's cooking something up.
With as good as our defense is, if our O could step up to Spurrier's Florida teams level, we would be unstoppable.
Ever since Spurrier got here, I've been waiting for him to be able to get that type of offense back that just runs the score up. I love that mentality of "don't want us to run the score up? Stop us." It would be awesome if we could average 40+ points/game in today's SEC.
With UGA's defense being questionable, how badass would it be for Spurrier to hit the half century mark in Athens this year?

He's still letting the media in the scrimmages, but I don't think they can video tape it. Although, he could be running a bunch of new or plays (for us) in practice and not run them in the scrimmages at all.
I do think that keeping video recording out of practice auxiliary benefit and the real intent was to take the grumpy fans and autographers away. The day before Spurrier closed the practices there was a report that some guy was upset with Clowney and vocalized it b/c he didn't stop to give an autograph. There is so much hoopla going on with these autographers that Spurrier is trying to distance the players from it and keep it out of their daily grind.
