2025 Running back Situation?

I mean he probably thought he could get away with what Pavia did. I imagine there will be a lawsuit if NCAA deems him ineligible.

Here's his history:

2019: Marshall (grayshirt)
2020: Lackawanna College (did not play due to COVID-19)
2021: Snow College (did not play)
2022: Snow College
2023: Utah State
2024: Utah State

So he's been on 6 rosters, but missed out on 2 years. NCAA says you have 5 years to play 4. Grayshirt is where things get kinda gray, you're not able to play, you can't practice, not on scholly. Is he really on the team then?

But the math the NCAA is going by here basically says you had your shot, even gave him an extra year due to COVID. Beamer and co likely saying, the grayshirt doesn't count or the 2021 season doesn't count.

I have a feeling Faison will be the victim of the NCAA's loss in court to Pavia, vengeful fricks that they are. My bet is that we'll run right up to the day of season start before they give us a real answer.
