Hannahan (S.C.) three-star wide receiver and Virginia Tech commitment Samuel Denmark will take an official visit to South Carolina after landing an offer from head coach Will Muschamp earlier this week... If the coaches can make him feel wanted and that he can be a big part of the offense moving forward, I think they have a realistic shot to land him this weekend. Denmark is an early enrollee.
South Carolina is also trying to make a late move with Coffeyville (Kan.) cornerback Jamarcus King, who some sources believe is the top junior college cornerback in the country... I think the Gamecocks also have a realistic shot at King if all goes well this weekend.
South Carolina will also play host to Deerfield Beach (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Cavin Ridley, who is the younger brother of Alabama star freshman wide receiver Calvin Ridley. It will not be easy to land the 6-foot-1, 198 pounder, as most expect him to join his brother in Tuscaloosa, but it speaks volumes about Robinson’s talents as a recruiter that he can get Ridley on campus so soon after arriving in Columbia.

The Offense emphasis is strong with this group ... let's hope McIlwain can do some solid recruiting for us, help his own cause with the WR and RB talent.
Jamarcus King, I was told this morning, is out of the same mold as Stephon Gilmore, like a carbon copy, but everyone thinks he is headed to Auburn right? I hope T-Rob can change that.

He was an Auburn lean, but mainly because of his relationship with TRob & Muschamp, everything I've heard is we have a good chance of getting him.

3* CB Chris Smith reaffirmed his commitment to USC as did the new staff. He's also teammate of a current 2016 target 3* CB Nick McCloud.

-- Sam Denmark and C.J. Freeman have arrived. I haven't been able to confirm on Cavin Ridley one way or the other. Just because I don't know that he's there doesn't mean that he isn't. I just haven't confirmed it.
-- The feedback I've gotten is Kurt Roper has been very well received. I'm told he's very sharp and just seems like a genuinely good guy.
I have confirmed that Cavin Ridley made it in, so all six guys who were expected to make it in have done so.
