I wouldn't be shocked to hear that Poona is canceling his Jan 17th visit to L'ville and comes to our event instead.

This class could really go out with a bang and land in the top 15.
Really surprising considering before the football season we were expecting 16 commits at most and finishing outside the top 25 because of it

DJ Smith eliminated clem5on, he said he wants to play in the SEC. He said it's between Tenn and USC. He really likes the chance of early playing time here, and he really likes his recruiting coach at Tenn. Despite what some Tenn sites are saying, the recruiting coach for Tenn still is pursuing Smith as a prospect.

a 2015 DB Rashard Causey is coming to the Jan 17th recruiting event. He's been picking up offers and interest since the summer.

Arden Key and Wesley Green have said since the spring that they want to play at the same college. Key just released a Top 5 and UGA is not on there. It makes me believe even more that Green is going to come to USC.
Also, USC was the nation's #12 Pass Defense and UGA was ranked 60th.

Terry Googer hurt his knee and had to have surgery. That's all I know right now. He hurt it at an All Star game on the 2nd.

BAW and Sawyer are going to get decent bumps in the rankings after the Army All Star camp/game performances. Stanley as well. Shaq Davidson will probably drop though. He got knocked out of the game in the 1st series.

Derrell Scott eliminated NCState today. It's a UTk, UF, USC battle. He visits UF for an official on the 17th, our assistant coaches are going up there next week before that visit, and then Spurrier is going for an in-home visit after his OV to UF.

Some 247 guys are changing their predictions from USC to Tennessee on Derrell Scott...reasons why?

IDK. The same guys from UT's 247 who are saying that they're hearing that Tenn had pulled ahead still have USC as their pick. The 2 guys that switched are the Vandy insider and Bartow. Bartow predicts everyone to Bama, including Abu Lamin, so they aren't actually the most accurate "pickers."
I'm not sweating it. Scott would be great to have, but RB isn't a must get this class, that's why he's the only one we've been even looking at the past 6 months. Also, I still feel like we're good. Spurrier has that in-home visit. The last 3 RB's he had in home visits with all committed to USC...and he can always use the Cha Cha Slide if it appears tight.
