I don't think we will have football this year. Should all players be allowed an extra year of eligibility if they want it?

No.

It will screw over average players.

John Doe college senior won't get "real" senior season. He will just get processed.

Meanwhile John Doe high school senior won't get recruited because senior starters will stay on at college.

It works out a lot better if orgs nationwide uniformly play or don't play. If they all don't play then all the seniors are in the same boat.equal. but of course people are competing even when other stuff should be more important and some pieces of shite will hold their seasons so their kids get the advantage.

Absolutely, without a question. Especially folks who came back for their last year. Talented upper classmen could've started their pro careers sooner, they made their decisions under different circumstances.

The downstream classes will be affected, but it won't be as drastic as what returning seniors having their eligibility yanked would face.

Was Tebow only good because he played on some of the most talented teams in history?

Maybe not, but it's hard to deny that Dak is just a better passing talent at this point.
