People think he is overrated because he didn't excel in our antiquated offense are dead wrong.
I try to assess RB's on how they move and how they handle contact, regardless of the system. Cook is fairly fast, quick, relatively small and not very powerful. I see lots of recruits every year with these attributes. I don't see him as somebody Monken will scheme around.

If he doesn't scheme to get Cook in space I'll eat my hat. It's an obvious move. Would you like to bet that Cook will be heavily featured in the passing game? Regular screens, WR screens, motion out of the backfield into the slot. You will see him doing all of those things and more. You are on record though for I told you so. Save this.

I may be completely wrong but I think Bryce You g beats out Jones for the starting position and our defense will get to feast on a young QB making his first few starts against an experienced defense in a high profile game. We win the game but I still want to see how our team progresses over the next 6-7 months. A lot can happen

Well, if I'd known I was at risk for an "I told you so", I would have kept that opinion to myself. Lesson learned, Leon.

Whether Young starts or not the team better prepare like he will play. Saban has shown twice that he has no problem bringing in the backup to try to win a game. Our defense is WAY better than what they faced in 82017 and 2018 though, especially in the secondary.
