Specifically Quinnen Williams. He looked like the best lineman for us out there last night. Did a fantastic job of stuffin the run and really impressed rushing the passer, especially in the second half. He had 2-3 tipped passes as he absolutely devoured the pocket. Buggs and Raekwon picked up right where they left off last year. But shite, Quinnen made it seem as if there was absolutely zero drop off after losing Payne to the league.

Mathis, Dwight and Ray also made a couple plays late last night that caught my eye. Need these guys to continue to get reps and provide depth.

The D-Line unit, as many predicted/expected, looks to be the strength of the defense. With more experience, I think the defense as a whole will be as good, or pretty damn close, to the ‘15, ‘16 and ‘17 squads - really need the ‘backers and secondary to figure out their assignments, Louisville’s only success appeared to come from passes into the flat or short, underneath passes in the middle with guys running wide open (that’ll get fixed, not too worried about it).

SEC as a whole looks to be improved, given it’s only week one. Gonna be a fun season boys RTR

Quinnen Williams looked unbelievably quick up front. Very Impressive.
