What is appreciably different about their style and coaching technique? I hear a lot of complaints with Hand, but I'm not sure exactly what people are referring to? What are we doing different now than we were doing when Grimes was the coach?

IMO the OL hasn't been great since 2013. We struggled in the red zone and in short yardage in 2014 despite all the big numbers we put up that year. The numbers were on Nick the Quick...the OL benefitted from him. The short yardage stuff when you had to man up and whip people got exposed.

We haven't had a true tackle at Auburn in some time. You could argue big Greg was a guard playing tackle in a 80% run O.

So it's not necessarily his coaching technique as much as it is his recruiting?

Yea, I tend to believe it is always about the jimmy's and joe's more than x's and o's.

We have had 1 OL drafted since Gus got here. This year will make 2. You can win in college with a Reese Dismukes, but you can't win with 4 or 5 kids like that on your line when you play guys like this...

Allen, Tomlinson, Williams, Reed, Robinson, Pagan, Stinson, Williams (4 1st day picks)

Godchaux, Hunter, Ferguson, Edwards, Montgomery, Logan, Mingo (4 1st day picks)

Jenkins (1st day pick)

Watkins, Reader, Lawson, Dodd, Jarrett, Beasley (3 1st day picks)

So in a window of time where we had two NFL OL, one only played in 2013. We have played 22 NFL draft picks against bama, LSU, uga and Clemson. That doesn't include the guys that played for A&M last season when they beat us.

We have a talent issue.

I might be mistaken, but I don't believe has a team right now.
