What if I told you moral victories are forever? What if I told you the greatest championship has yet to be won?

ESPN PRESENTS...

In the most unprecedented season of all time Butch Jones, a little over one month after being fired, was rehired as the head football coach at Tennessee.

“I knew I would be back. I only let them fire me so they could see the error of their ways, ya know? They were going to learn life lessons by firing me. I couldn’t deprive them of that opportunity.” Butch cracks a smile, wisdom clearly gleaming from his eyes.

The dumpster fire at Tennessee was legendary. After firing Butch Jones, Tennessee suddenly found that no one wanted them. Gruden, Schiano, Tee Martin, Dave Doeren and even Coach Spinks (a local 8 man football coach at a junior high school) turned Tennessee down.

Things were desperate.

But just when things were at their most dire...one man came back to right the wrongs of an arrogant administration and fan base.

Seen here celebrating his glorious return, Butch Jones quickly capitalized on his renergized program by delivering a 8-4 season complete with near victories over Alabama and Florida.

This is the greatest story ever told. This is the championship of life.
