they don't last long and rarely succeed. The only coach that would come close would be Kirby, the other names I have seen , none will come close to Saban. Bama might have a good season next year, if they can keep team together, but recruiting vs UGA, LSU, TX, and others will not be like the Saban era. JMHO, but UGA and or the other powers in the SEC not AL, will rise to the top.

Agree. Hard times are coming to Tuscaloosa. Just based on the odds alone.
They already lucked into getting Bear Bryant and Nick Saban, so what are the odds that lightning strikes a third time immediately on the heels of Saban? Probably about the same as winning the lottery. Its just not going to be possible possible
At best, Alabama will now be about what LSU has been the past decade or so. At worst, the spoiled and idiotic bama fanbase will turn toxic at the first sign of adversity when their new coach doesn’t live up to Saban’s obscene successes, and that place will spiral into a couple decades of mediocrity or worse.
Is going to be hilarious to watch. And Kirby really is the new king. I guess you could say that he and Dabo are co-Kings now, but Dabo is living in the past and on a downward trajectory while Kirbs is embracing clown world and trudging onward and upward. Exciting times

I'm not sure that it will have much impact our recruiting much. Doesn't seem like Bama has poached to many high level recruits from our state.
