Cook and/or Macon hit the portal and Horn signs an MLB contract. Would not blame Cook or Macon hitting the road playing behind Baz.

I wouldn't either. Drink completely dissed Cook and Macon by going down this road game after game.
I can't figure out if this is misguided loyalty to someone he named as a captain or what.

Horn really isn’t that type of baseball prospect.
Whatever it is, it can’t be worse than it was this year. Even if they all transfer and we have to grab someone from the portal

I have no idea but maybe he's far and away the best in practice and is having trouble on game day for some reason. Does anyone have any idea if any truth to this thought?

The players gotta be pissed because Bazelak must be getting literally all the reps and the back-ups get plays to hand off to Badie and maybe trick plays.

If drink makes a firm commitment to the number 2 this year, the number 3 walks to the portal. By pretending Bazelak is number 1, he buys time. horn will not start next year and he can bench Bazelak once he is confident in his number 2. They already secured a bowl. The recruiting class is top 20. Why add a qb controversy?

This is an interesting assessment. Especially if the staff thinks Horn is going to be the man when he gets here.
