I’m in Richmond Hill, which is in Bryan county, the fastest growing county in GA. I’m reading to move. My wife finally gave up the beach thing since we don’t go as much so we’re looking for something up in N. GA. We’re looking at a minimum of 5 acres and I was just wondering where I need to steer my search.

I have two kids. One is in high school and she can deal with the move. The other is 9 and he’s just happy to hang out with me.

Far Northwest Georgia and northeast Georgia outside the mountains are probably going to be the most affordable. Dalton and Chatsworth in the northwest. Hart, Elbert, Franklin, Madison, Wilkes in the areas surrounding Athens. A decent house with 5 acres in the rest of the area will range from 750+
