Its a forum based on athletics, with the main focus on football. So he has to talk about things like baseball, basketball, water polo, records from the SWC, and Big 12 era.
He doesn't wanna talk about the present. Why? Because they can't keep a coaching staff. They struggle against Baylol, and Kansas. They're 3-9 against their "rival." Their own players help their alumni to create a toxic environment for all things football. They have a damn monkey putting them in the national media with a nasty, Jerry Springer, style stripper for a "recruiting tool."
When your football season is essentially over before Oct 15 every year, you run to forums based on things unrelated to you to distract yourself. Football is obviously his life and he hasn't had a life in over 10 years.
