Ball was controlled in bounds and he completed the catch. Seems pretty clearly a touchdown.

The NCAA rulebook details a number of requirements for something to be considered a catch, but these are the three main pieces. For a catch, the player:

1. Secures firm control with the hand(s) or arm(s) of a live ball in flight
before the ball touches the ground, and

2. Touches the ground in bounds with any part of his body, and then

3. Maintains control of the ball long enough to enable him to perform an act common to the game, i.e., long enough to pitch or hand the ball, advance it, avoid or ward off an opponent, etc.

Just looked it up on the NCAA website.

Get new glasses. The ball was controlled only after he was out of bounds. INCOMPLETE in any game or league except when it benefits Bama. A Bama loss would have cost the league millions. Can’t let that happen.
