TK had already killed a guy from what I heard. There was some sort of redneck mafia thing going on then. Assume it was drugs or money laundering or both. That all changed when El Azteca got in the game.

Mooney opens competitor to TKs…offered cheap arse beer. TK buys Mooney’s building and tried to evict. Somebody tried to burn TK deck. Mooney hires hit man and kills TK. Mooney goes to jail but escapes in……1980…caught in 1989. Mooney paroled 2020.
