I think the Weaver dude was named Dexter, but people called him Weaver. I ate lunch there a decent bit. His fried chicken and fried pork chops were solid. He was an odd dude. Didn't realize he was still alive

Someone should write up a screenplay for Netflix on the dark underbelly of this quaint little southern college town. Netflix literally doesn't turn down scripts. We could all write it here, collaboratively.

TK Harty was the guy who got killed. 1977...long before my time but heard a lot about it. He was killed in a murder-for-hire instigated by a guy named Mooney who owned a rival restaurant/bar called Somebody's Pizza.
TK and Mooney were apparently in a beer price war.
As a fun fact, Mooney got paroled very recently after 30+ years in prison. And now living in Blackshear!
