OU historically and today is a better job.

I’m having a flashback of Jason White getting humiliated by an aggressive LSU d-line. What y’all don’t get, but will soon enough, is that the recruiting services can’t capture something that separates the SEC from the rest of CFB. I think it’s a certain strength of mind and tolerance for risk and pain, a warrior mentality, that’s still prevalent in the Deep South. There are many, many 3 star linemen in this conference that will steal OU’s lunch money, let alone the 4 and 5 stars at places like LSU. When it happens, and it will, this board will be a chorus of I-told-you-sos.

This 100%. At LSU, Riley would automatically have elite defensive/line talent built-in to recruiting classes with the Louisiana boys, while getting to cherry pick offensive skill players like he does now. Add that to all of the Texas connections he has built...He will be sitting smack dab in the middle of the recruiting Holy Grail. He is already going to the SEC, going to LSU just tilts the odds in his favor.
