My deal isn’t that he’s trying to get fans involved. But I think we need to be very careful about saying things like “we’d have a top 15 class if the average Joe fans just donated more money to the program.” I’m sure more NIL money would help but we certainly don’t need the admin/staff to be thinking that is the be all end all when I’m sure getting embarrassed at home to Liberty and BYU has just as much to do with it.

Take the NIL money out of Pittman’s contract for all I care.

But the thing is our recruiting has stayed essentially the same for decades even when we were winning the SEC west or going 11-2 under Petrino, or going 3-9 under Bielema and 2-10 in 2019.

Something has to get players here and they don’t seem that much more interested even when we do win.

If they told the truth then Arkansas fans wouldn't donate and so it is better to tell a lie and get the cash flowing.

Regardless it will be very hard for Arkansas to compete in this outlaw NIL environment.
