He's not going to get life in prison without parole. I do, however, think he should get the max for his charges, which isn't a life sentence

Yes, it would still be a mistake. A really really bad a mistake, but by definition a mistake nonetheless

There is no reason to put the word mistake in quotes here.
No, that is too extreme of a punishment for the crime, and if you have an issue with that, you can take it up with Nevada who makes their laws.
Our justice system isn't made for your vengeance.
Personally, I think you should be punished for being willfully ignorant on the simple meaning of words, but I don't make those laws either.
