There is another video of Ruggs driving well over 100 mph while a girl was screaming to stop and let her out. IT was not a mistake he was driving 158 in a city street. It was intentional and illegal for more than one reason, which leads me to believe he should or could be charged with 2nd degree murder.

well, you'd be wrong about the could part. He was trying to be reckless, he wasn't intending on killing someone. 2nd degree murder requires intent. And that's a good thing because DUI resulting in death does not require the state to prove intent. It's a strict liability offense. All the state needs to convict is prove he was drunk, prove he was driving drunk, and prove he caused a death while driving drunk. If they had to prove intent, he could walk. Is that a better outcome for you?

I hate people who hold others hostage in their cars. I've been on the other end of that shite.

But as for the rest, words have meanings and laws are made for specific reasons. If they charge him with 2nd degree murder, you're just asking for him to go free.
