Why do teammates describe Stet as blue collar?

And how do they describe JT?
Honest question.
JT looks like sore thumb on sideline. What if he simply doesn’t fit in?

I bet the receivers have a lot to say in private. I am sure they would like to have the nicer passes that JT distributes.
300+ yards per game vs. 100ish

Daniels gets all the money, Stet does all the work. Sounds blue collar to me.

Kirbs says here he didn’t want JT to come in for mop up hand off work. Also, look at all the comments by our horrible, miserable fans.

Mailman is a blue collar job.

Honest question?
Because he is business like and shows up for work prepared and ready to work.
He's not flashy but keeps his nose to the grindstone.
That said he thinks (sometimes) he has to win a game, and he doesn't. His job is to be steady and protect the ball.

On Monday, Smart said Bennett's mobility was also a factor in deciding to go with him.
"It's a separator, but I mean there's things that JT is better at than Stetson, but it's one of the things that's a factor," Smart said "Mobility in a quarterback is critical. It's not that JT's immobile ... it's just that Stetson is very mobile. Stetson is able to make some plays with his feet.
"I thought there were five or six plays in the [Florida] game where his mobility was a factor. We had breakdowns, and you're going to have some, on offense. And when you have those, you gotta have somebody who can get you out of a bad play, and I don't mean by way of check, I mean during the play and he does a good job of doing that."

Maybe that also explains why Kirby isn't replacing him with Daniels. Postal workers have a certain uh..."history" when it comes to workplace grievances.

What I have been saying about the qb spot for years.

Honest question:
What does "he has won the locker room" even mean? And why the hell would that be important?
Follow-up: Since Stet clearly has no business leading this team, does that mean the players that have bought in and put trust in Stet are stupid? Possibly they just like him for where he's from?
