Here’s what OU and Texas are about to come to terms with when they begin SEC competition in the next few seasons. Both programs are going to be faced with the equivalent of 6 Red River Rivalries every season. Let that sink in for a minute. Virtually every Saturday in the SEC is a bowl game. It’s the whose who of college football. My advice? Prepare for how humbling it will be. There are no Saturdays off. Had you pulled your little stunt against Kansas in the SEC, that’s a sure loss. Buckle up brother, you’re in for one hell of a ride.

Wrong, they will get to play Arky and Mizzou on at least 2 Saturdays.

What you have to realize is that Arkansas has always been an afterthought on the national scene except for one or two years in the ‘60s.

Their move to the SEC merely gave them an excuse for their irrelevance. They could fool themselves that they would be a power in another conference despite no evidence to back it up.

Same with Missouri and A&M except both have recent history of mediocrity in our conference.

What gets me about Arkansas fans is that they are so out of touch with reality. They never approach OU in recruiting. They aren’t within a couple of hours of the fertile recruiting ground of Dallas. They aren’t a blue blood. Yet they somehow think they are going to beat OU regularly in the SEC.

At least A&M, unlike Arkansas, have put together a few very good recruiting classes.

Arkansas will be ranked by the time we play Bama. We will be ranked Sunday

Also in our one common opponent with OU this year we beat them soundly while OU struggled and had to come back and win

OU has struggled with every game besides last week and they have all been against bad teams.

I’d love to play OU this year
