The difference now, and this cannot be emphasized enough, is Scott Woodward.
LSU almost hired Jimbo with an incompetent AD in Joe Alleva. If he had not made his desires so public, it would as a done deal. Instead, he runs his mouth which allowed Miles to rally public support and being the Beta who cares what social media thinks, Alleva shrunk back into his hole.
Woodward hired Sark and Petersen at Washington, Jimbo at TAMU, Mulkey and Jay Johnson at LSU. If not for the background issues, O'Sullivan would be at LSU right now.
You got about a month before that smile is wiped off your face...
