What was the year the police at Auburn hosed down the UGA fans who stormed the field at Jordan Hare?

Two interesting questions posed in the comments in that video. Did aub get in trouble for turning on the hoses? Did UGA have to pay any vandalism fines?

I am not sure about the cops getting in trouble, but I know that UGA did pay for any stadium damage. Dooley is a former Aub, I think it was done without any debate.

I've read way way back in the day, Tulane beat LSU in BR. The Tulane fans stormed the fied and the LSU fans met them there. The cops were useless with the huge number in the crowd. A huge melee ensued for several minutes until the announcer played the national atheme. They stopped fighting until the song was over and then resumed the melee.

We clinched the SEC title with Georgia's win that night after stomping Mississippi State in Jackson, 47-0.
