I was down to the grocery store the other day and talking to a Dawg fan about their game with the gumps. He was telling me the Dawgs were doing good and that they needed to beat Alabama, not only because they are Bama, but also because of Nick Saban. Seems he dislikes sticky nicky as much as I do. He referred to the Miami Dolphins fiasco as well as LSU.
I was just curious if other Georgia fans got the hate on for Saban.

I don't hate saban, just alabama. I have no reason to hate him.

Do I respect him:

I dont "hate" him per se. I just file Saban and Meyer as the two snakes of the SEC. IMHO, they come across like they think they are God's gift to college football.

Both are tremendous coaches, but I think a little humility goes a long way sometimes.

Bingo. The simple term for both would be Di&k Head.

Your coach called for a team to clear the sidelines and run on the field after a touchdown. Please stfu.

i'm not even talking about on the field as much as off the field, like in press conferences.

both meyer and saban come off as guys who think their shite doesnt stink. its not a terrible thing, its just seems like their personalities.

and the incident in jacksonville happened. it wasnt supposed to be the entire team, just the offense. at any rate, it was a little much. however, it worked. and in the long run of the SEC, isnt it the wins that matter?

which brings me back to my original point. i think meyer and saban are tremendous football coaches. in the long run, they win. thats what matters, end of story.

Do you seriously believe Nick Saban would ever call for something like that? No sir. Bush league, kinda like a blackout.

where did i imply that Saban would do something like that?

and why is the blackout "bush league"? its not like anyone thinks the black jerseys are magical and are automatic wins.

its something different that the players seem to enjoy and the fans definitely do. it will just add that much more to the atmosphere Saturday night in what should be a helluva football game between two pretty damn good teams.

Those are plays that get your college team believing in you. So you are correct.

Saban did a hell of a job at LSU, but fell short in so many ways at the same time.

No, I don't think Coach Miles would like the big celebrate the first touchdown thing, but he sure liked the fourth and go to let his team know he believes in them.

Saban Sucks. jmo

Talking about the blackout...I do agree if this is needed to get your team ready for a game like this,
well who knows?
I think Richt is too good a coach to use these type of things to motivate his team.

Miles doesn't tell his players to storm the field, so is he not psyching his players up?

I think Miles has made some good calls, but he's made some really really bad ones. The onside kick against AU was a good call imo.
