I was a huge Braves fan during the 90's. Didn't have time for baseball for the better part of 20 years but my son is finally old enough to enjoy baseball so started watching again this season and even took him to a game when the Braves visited.
It's great to see them win it all again after so many years.
God's providence is amazing.

Same here. They wore me out in the 90’s….should’ve won it in 91. So great to see this win!

Some of my earliest memories in the sports realm were watching Eric Zeier play at UGA and the 1991 Braves baseball season. I remember the heartbreak of watching Smoltz pitch the game of his life against the Twins, only for us to lose game 7 of the WS 1-0 late. 1992 didn’t make things any better.
Then of course, 1995 came along and I finally figured out how awesome it was to win it all.
What I didn’t realize was how long I would have to wait to experience a championship again. But the wait makes this one feel even better than ‘95!
