He is 65-29 at Penn State (.691)…..he is an ok coach!

Not saying this is all Tate cares about, but he fits the image that Tate would want. Honestly it makes too much sense. Also imo would vault LSU back to being a top 2 or 3 team in the West

Everyone knows he is an excellent coach. There are just a lot of fans that don't want LSU to have an excellent coach because they know what will happen.

This is their way of coping with that reality.

He can't win the big game... year in a year out he loses a game he shouldn't or mismanages his teams... he has failed to win big and won't ever be able to... I think if he is going to leave PA it will be for the USC job... he will get eaten up in the SEC.
