Considering how well our defense pursues, this is also an absurdly difficult task.

The two best run plays that have come against us this season (from what I can recall) have both been options where the QB has fake pitched the ball and kept it for about 20 yards or so. Not sure if we’ll get that figured out but it’s the only remote place I’ve seen success.

Our defense pursues so well it’s hard to beat them on the outside as well as in the middle.

One way I could see our defense having trouble is if Nix is able to get it to a swing route to Bigsby or Shivers in the flat and get them 1-on-1 with our corners. There was one play in the Arkansas game where Brini got toasted by Rocket Sanders on that.

However, that would require a lot of time in the pocket that I don’t think will consistently be there.
