Did you know you can acquire flight time without ever stepping foot on campus of a University that has a flight school? Did you know you can earn your commercial pilot license in less than 6 months & acquire the required flight time to be an airline pilot in less than two years? Ask me how I know.

You can go to those quick courses, but you do not receive a BS degree. You can get all the ratings in the world but the Majors want you to have a degree. So those quickie course graduates usually end up flying for Commuter Airlines in hope of upgrading. Ask me how I know.

P.S Auburn's Program has a waiver from the FAA which allows their graduates to receive an ATP with 800 Hours of Flight Time (1500 normally required) and they have an agreement with Delta to hire their grads out of College. Ask me how I know.

You can literally have a degree from any four year college in any degree field.

No, they don’t. It’s a 1,000 hour minimum (FAR 61.160), and Auburn is one of 30+ schools included in that waiver - if the pilot graduates with a 4 year degree.

They literally don’t. That’s not a thing. They get sent to a regional airline under the “Delta Connection” brand. Endeavor, SkyWest, Republic all fly as Delta Connection. They are absolutely not being hired at Delta right out of college. Guess what kind of degree is required at Endeavor, SkyWest, & Republic?
