How much damage did Gus Malzahn do to the Auburn football program ?

Since he became the AU HC in 2013, auburn has only had 4- 1st round draft picks (including 1st round bust and drug smuggler Greg Robinson)

Malzahn had 4 in 8 years (.5/year)
Chizick had 2 in 4 years (.5/year)
Tubberville had 6 in 10 years (.6/year)
Bowden had 4 in 6 years (.667/year)

Looking at the trend, I would say the damage he caused was minimal to nothing

The real damage Gus left is on the lines and it was visible last Saturday vs GaState. It took him a few years but the finally brought in a really good RB (Tank) and Kodi Burns recruited WR's well and Steele & his bunch did well recruiting defense.

If Auburn turns in back to back classes ranked in the 20's these new coaches will have a steep hill to climb to get even with their main rivals in talent.
