Yea, I didn't really have any positive takeaways from the Southern Miss game on defense. Not a ton of negative ones either (other than losing the TE once or twice), but nothing tangible either way. Southern Miss is atrocious on offense, so there isn't much to take from that.

It was all fixable, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But it's going to be a hell of a test.

Maybe the offense can help out with the clock.

Yep - I think it's reasonable to just not have things avalanche like they did last year and did in the 2nd half last weekend. We're going to give up points and drives, but you just can't get into panic mode where every play they run is 8-15 yards like last year and like what Florida started doing.

I'll be interested to see what the plan is there. I know you don't want to overthink it and look up and have wasted 2 possessions and be down 14-0, but I have to think in a perfect world we establish the run game/play action pass game early with the 2 Tight End sets and set the tone of the game. Kind of all comes down to how improved the Ole Miss D really is, probably.
