and combo coverages like 2 on 2 matchup zones and 3 on 2 matchup zones
most fans still think they can recognize Ye Old straight man versus straight zone, and in reality they have no clue that they're seeing neither, but a hybrid instead
regardless, I've always been so sick of the media-fueled propaganda of how "fans want exciting offenses", and the OP makes a great point about the boring as hell check downs to five yard dinks and dunks with said "exciting offenses" - many times the younger generation has bought into all that, but I doubt there are many young Arkansas fans right now who'd say our 2021 old style run game is not exciting as hell

Harry Rex Vonner, even counting this year at 4-0 you're still averaging 7 losses a year over the last decade. You won't be excited much longer, trust me.
