Is the front 7 getting all those sacks because the Dbs are overall doing a good job jamming at the line and taking away short routes?

You know....that's a great question. I realize you are just asking my opinion, and I also realize you have an opinion of your own.

Again, I think I would go with a combination of the two. As a whole I think our secondary is doing a good job in coverage, and I also think that is being aided by our pass rush. Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

From what i have seen....even when our rush gets to the QB it appears to ME that the other teams WRs are covered, too. So I think our secondary is doing a good job, like you said.

I also think our front 7 is doing a great job in pass rush. it's a deadly combination. I am trying not to get too excited because other than Clemson we have not really played a top team.

Having Arkansas and Auburn will tell the tale, in my opinion. Auburn in particular. (Nothing against Arkansas...I don't know enough about their pass rush philosophy.)
