re: Fried Chicken and Watermelon

When I was in school we had black guy who was body builder in one of our labs. We all basically lived in that lab that semester and dude was always making black jokes. He was also always eating. Like entire pizzas at a time.

One day after a particular bout of racist jokes about being black, he left and returned with a bucket of KFC. Ate the whole thing, announced "you know it's good when a black man eats the whole thing" left the lab again, and returned with a watermelon.

He was cutting the thing up on his desk and staring at all of us going, "Say something about it. Watermelon is good shite. Say something about it."

I miss that guy. He was a riot and a genuinely good person.
