He seems to have no answer and gets out played by the opposing OC to many times. He never has an answer.

How many times have we seen this where an opposing offense figures out Golding’s scheme, and then just marches up and down the field for touchdowns unopposed for the rest of the game?

2018 Oklahoma, 2019 LSU, 2019 Auburn, 2020 Ole Miss, 2020 UF, 2021 UF. That’s just off the top of my head. Once they figure out what works they stuff it down our throat and we never have any adjustment or answer. We just keep running the same crap and getting whipped until the clock runs out and pray for the offense to save us. Thankfully, the offense is often so darn good it can.

It wouldn’t even be so hard to watch if we made an adjustment, stopped them for a series, they make an adjustment and score again, we adjust again, etc. But there’s no chess match going on. We run the same crap whether it’s working or not.

I am at a loss here as well. In the past Saban has stepped with Kirby and others. Not sure what Golden has on him.

Sometimes our coaches egos become a determent to our team as they are so reluctant to make a change and believe their way is going to work.
