Can we talk about how good this guy’s been?

Looking at Georgia’s website, he’s currently the school’s all-time leader in career punting average (45.5) and net punting average (40.8) and also holds two of the top three individual seasons in school history in each category with his 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Finding SEC punting records all-time is a little tricky, but he appears to have one of the best career punt averages in conference history. So far this year, he’s averaging 45.8 yards per punt.

That’s a great asset to have, especially with the defense we have this year. If we avoid turnovers, opponents will always have long fields

When he's on, there are few better. It's those times when he's off, though...

It's tough for punters: they really can't afford to have many misses, since they don't usually get that many cracks at it per game.

I feel like part of the problem is the viral culture emphasizes screw ups, especially from guys who get no praise when they do their jobs well, like punters. If a guy booms a 50-yard punt, nobody cares because everybody’s complaining about the offense.

On the whole, he’s wildly effective.

He’s awesome. But like every punter in the history of punting he’s also had some bad ones.
