Okay but...
Our offense carried us earlier this season. We had one of the best offenses starting out and everybody was excited about it. We had players throughout the lineup that could beat you...do you all remember that?
There was no talk about hitting then...
So in all honesty whatever Murphy did early on or over the off-season actually worked prior to this season because we were pretty good offensively earlier this season. (He Adapted Somehow?)
I still feel like we should improve this area by hiring somebody who is a hitting coach but it's hard to explain how we were so GOOD then just TERRIBLE later in the season.
This really feels more like our Men's Basketball Team though! (Bad Chemistry & Not Enough Leaders) when things got shaky.

OOC opponents don't know everything about you. Conference opponents do. It's not that complicated. Once you start facing opponents that are familiar with you it becomes a back and forth game of adjustments. It becomes even more difficult when the players don't have a real coach helping them make those adjustments and pretty much have to do it on their own.
