Stupid statement? Cool

KB wasn't FOCUSED here and that's what ultimately held her back.

That's why I said what I said but hey that's just an opinion doesn't mean it's right.

KB didn't go to Arkansas and all of a sudden become good hitter though! She was good here so stop trying act like she was some type of TERRIBLE hitter here.

Her change of scenery most definitely helped her.

Btw...

Why wasn't anyone speaking about KB when things were going good? That's all I want to know!

Now hitting is an issue and I used Tow as an example the other day. Yes, something has to be done because they aren't applying Murphy's terminology/techniques or they aren't understanding his terminology when they are batting because Tow never really blossomed.

How do you know?? You're either talking out of your rear end or maybe you actually are Murph

I said I was done with this then you have to go and say something like this. First of all I'm not even sure this makes sense but I'll try to address it. Murph's terminology? What does that even mean?

As for his techniques, what little techniques he has, they're applying them just fine. They just don't freaking work anymore. His one and only "technique" is small ball/slap hitting.

That's not the game anymore. You can't win championships doing that. The rule change eliminating batters being out of the box at contact killed slap hitting dead.

Murph's philosophy has always been to ride a stud pitcher to 0-1 runs allowed while scraping 2-3 runs with small ball. But now everyone has at least one stud pitcher and everyone else is teaching their teams to hit for power and light up the scoreboard.

The game has passed him by and the only way he can catch back up is to adapt. I've never said I think he should be fired but he's got to change the way he's doing things. Problem is I've seen no evidence he's even interested in trying.

And Murphy was a big part of that scenery.
