4 losses per season in the 70’s

We won a NC and played for another in the 70s
We won 6 Conference Championships in the 70s
I would consider that successful..

5 losses per season in the 80’s

We played for a NC in the 80s..
We won 1 CC in the 80s..
I would consider that NOT successful..

quote:

5 losses per season in the 90’s

We won 4 CC during the 90s..
I would consider that decent, but NOT successful

quote:

The 2000’s is the only decade you’ve done better in the last 4 decades

We won a NC and played for another..
We won 2 CC..
I would consider that successful

quote:

And 5 losses per season in the 2010’s

I would consider this past decade NOT successful.

So I would consider 2 of the last 5 decades successful, and another one of those 5 that was decent.

Would you say A&M has had any successful decades in the past 50 years?

No

And you stretched the truth tremendously in your “summary”

In the playoff and bcs periods half of your “successful moments”. Would not have occurred.

But you danced around whether you consider 4 losses per season or 5 losses per season a successful 10 year period

Jeez 'sip, at least get your facts right and use full disclosure:

you did NOT win a NC in the 70s. You claim a NC in 1970 because someone proclaimed you that BEFORE the bowl games where Notre Dame cleaned your clock. How pathetic.

And of the "Four" conference championships you claim in the 90s, one was a four-way tie for 2nd behind Texas A&M (Waaaay behind as Ags were undefeated and you lost 3 or 4 conf games). Ags were put on probation so you got a big ol asterisk "conf championship"
